Meet. Dr. Freed

Dr. Jonathan R. Freed welcomes you and hopes you will find this website useful in learning about our practice and the different aesthetic surgical procedures we offer. Dr. Freed is a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in facial rejuvenation, body contouring, and surgery of the breast.

Education

Dr. Jonathan Freed earned his Bachelor of Science in human biology from Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He then continued his studies at the school of medicine, completing his medical degree in 1990. Dr. Freed spent the next six years training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center.

Certification & Memberships

Dr. Freed is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is also an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the California Society of Plastic Surgery, and the Greater Sacramento Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Professional Positions

Dr. Freed is the former chief of plastic surgery at Kaiser Permanente in Portland, Oregon along with serving as a clinical instructor in plastic surgery at Oregon Health Sciences University. He has hospital privileges at Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital, Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital, and has recently opened a beautiful state-of-the-art surgery facility in his office.

Community & Charitable

In addition to helping his patients in private practice, Dr. Freed has received various awards for his community service and has participated in multiple volunteer projects overseas. He has performed plastic surgery mission work in both India and Africa.
