Meet Dr. Anderson

Dr. Anderson is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology . He has more than 25 years surgical experience and 20 years using lasers in surgical procedures. Dr. Anderson earned his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School, spent four years at the Mayo Graduate School in Rochester in an Oto/Head & Neck Surgery Residency, and completed Plastic Surgery residency at the University of Michigan . He is a frequent presenter at national and international plastic surgery meetings and authors book chapters and journal articles on procedures which he has pioneered.
Dr. Anderson also volunteers his services as plastic surgeon to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence Program and also to a program for tattoo removal for Phoenix gang members.

Training
Dr. Richard Anderson is fully trained in all aspects of modern plastic and reconstructive surgery. Using the latest technology available and advanced training, the procedures he performs include: cosmetic surgery of the face and body; breast surgery (reconstruction, augmentation, reduction); hair replacement; suction assisted lipectomy (Ultrasonic technique); body contouring; laser-assisted surgery (eyelid lift surgery and laser skin resurfacing); and endoscopic surgery (facial and body procedures).

Presentations
Dr. Anderson has pioneered several innovative plastic surgery procedures, including the Anderson Endoscopic Facelift. Dr. Anderson is very involved in teaching fellow Plastic Surgeons and he instructs physicians on a national and international level.
Dr. Richard Anderson is an invited course instructor at the annual Scientific Meeting of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery [ASAPS] which will be held in New York City in the spring of 2007. Dr. Anderson will be teaching his Endoscopic facial surgery techniques to plastic surgeons from around the world.
Dr. Anderson was a course instructor at the annual scientific meeting of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery which was held in Orlando in April 2006.
The Anderson Endoscopic Face procedure has many advantages including; virtually invisible scars, less surgical trauma, less swelling, faster return to work and activities, better visualization of important structures during this surgery, as well as improved lasting results.
Dr. Richard Anderson is a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), and he has been awarded the Certificate of Advanced Education in Cosmetic Surgery by the society. ASAPS membership is the Mark of Distinction in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Anderson was an invited course instructor at the annual scientific meeting of the American Society for Asethetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) held in New Orleans in April 2005. Dr. Anderson taught his Anderson Endoscopic Facelift Technique to Plastic Surgeons at that meeting.
September 2004 - Dr. Anderson presented his Endoscopic Facelift and his results at the scientific meeting of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons in New York City. He presented two one hour courses to peers.
April 2004 - Dr. Anderson was an invited course instructor at the annual scientific meeting of the American Society for Asethetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) held in Vancouver, British Columbia. Dr. Anderson taught his Anderson Endoscopic Facelift Technique to Plastic Surgeons at that meeting.
May 2003 - Dr. Anderson was an invited instructor at Revolutions in Cosmetic Surgery, the annual scientific meeting of the American Society for Asethetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) in Boston. He taught his Anderson Endoscopic Facelift technique to plastic surgeons attending that meeting.
April 2002 - Dr. Anderson taught a course on Endoscopic Facial Surgery Techniques to members of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons at their annual scientific meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dr Anderson's endoscopic facelift technique was featured. Dr. Anderson is a member of this Aesthetic Surgery society--which is "the mark of distinction in cosmetic plastic surgery."
May 2001 - Invited Instructor at the annual meeting of American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Surgery Education and Research Foundation in New York City. Taught Endoscopic Facial Surgery techniques to plastic surgeons (Dr. Anderson's Technique).
November 2000 - Invited Speaker and Visiting Surgeon in Italy (Monza, Milano). Demonstrated the Anderson Endoscopic Facelift and Anderson Lip Enhancement Techniques to plastic surgeons.
February 2000 - Invited as a visiting speaker and USA representative at the 30th annual meeting of the Egyptian Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. Dr. Anderson's topic was High Tech Facial Rejuvenation.
July 1999 - Invited speaker at the International Confederation for Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, in San Francisco. Dr. Anderson was a member of experts panel at this meeting.
June 1999 - Invited speaker at the European Society of Hair Restoration, Paris, France. Spoke on the Anderson BAT Flap.
May 1999 - Dr. Anderson was a speaker at the Global Convocation of Hair Restoration Surgery in Rancho, Mirage, CA. Dr. Anderson presented the expanded flap procedures, including the Anderson BAT and TAT flap.
